A fresh look at current banking facilities may indicate that the client should consider moving lenders and even their bankers to achieve improved lending and banking terms. Lenders are also far more attracted to the higher loans i.e. (£1,000,000+) coupled with a low loan to value which gives the bank the comfort zone of an increased level of security.
If a business is going through a difficult period of trading due to poor cash flow or business debts then every avenue of refinancing should be considered from asset finance, restructuring existing banking arrangements or even factoring in existing debts in the short term. Provided the business has an acceptable level of security a longer term finance solution may be available.
